I also want to tell you all that I am moving my blog to my own hosted pages. There has been so many problems with posting and commenting on blogger, so as I got my own site (nothing there so far except the templates), I also added my blog there. All the posts and your lovely comments have already been moved there. I managed to get all the followers moved there also. Hopefully it will work now, so you do not need to do any changes yourself.
The only real problem so far I have there is that I do not know how I could get the list of blogs I am following there as it is here, but hopefully can figure it out (if possible) at some point. If any of you have any suggestions, they would be more than welcome.

Little trimmings - Welcome

I found a webshop called Little Trimmings which had lots of interesting stuff: nice fabrics, hat straw, laces, ribbons, trims, kits etc. I bought this time the stuff seen in the photo, but will probably visit this store also later.

I received today really gorgeous hats I bought from Kat the hat lady's Etsy shop.

Pöytä - Table

Teinpä vaihteeksi poydän käyttäen valmisjuttuja. Ihan sopiva mielestäni tulevaan nukkekotiini (kun joskus saisin sen maalattua, tapetoitua ja koottua).
I made a table. I think it is perfectly suitable for my new dollhouse (whenever I finally get it painted, wallpapered and assembled).

Forssan saalista - bought from Forssa

When I left to Forssa (145 kilometers away), I wished eagerly to be able to buy a absolutely marvellous cabinet from Maria Malmström, but was afraid that we would be too late. We arrived there at 10am (fair opened at 9am), and before doing anything else I rushed to Maria's table. I was happy to see that there it was still, unfortunately somebody had broken the doorknob from it, but never mind, I am sure I can glue it back. And here it is (with Vai Miccä ™ - Design sunglasses). I think it is gorgeous (and so are the glasses).

Kun lähdin Forssaan (145km:n päähän kotoa), toivoin kovasti ehtiväni ostamaan Maria Malmströmiltä aivan ihanaa lipastoa, mutta pelkäsin että joku ehtii ennen minua. Kun saavuimme markkinoille, suuntasin suoraan Marian pöydän luo, ja siellä se oli yhä. Olin tosi onnellinen siitä, ja ostin sen heti, vaikka joku olikin ehtinyt rikkoa toisen ovennupin, eiköhän tuo liimalla hoidu. Tässä se on kuvassa Vai Miccä malliston aurinkolasien kera.

Todays program included preparations for tomorrow's 5-year birthday party and we also went for a pirate cruise. It was fun and also found a treasure. In the photo is our pirate before the cruise.

Maalaismarkkinalöytö - Country fair find

Kävimme tyttäreni kanssa eilen Jumesniemen maalaismarkkinoilla, ja löysimme sieltä tämän söpön boksin (olisi ollut toinenkin, mutta tyhmyyksissäni en ostanut :-() . Takana päivämäärä 1.7.1966 eli on melkoisen vanha.

We visited Jumesniemi country fair yesterday with my daughter and found this roombox from there. The date behind is 1.7.1966 so it is pretty old. There was another one also, but for some stupid reason I did not buy it :-(.

Kesäloma alkoi (sekä minulla että tytöllä), joten toivottavasti ehdin jossain välissä mineillä vähän enemmänkin. Aika kyllä menee rattoisasti tytön kanssa puuhatessa, ollaan nyt kahtena päivänä käyty mato-ongella, kun hän jostain innostui siitä. Saatiin molempina päivinä jopa kalaakin ;-).

Olen yrittänyt tehdä jotain seuraaviin synttäriswappeihin, mutta ovat vielä kesken. Seuraava on 15. päivä, joten pitää saada ihan kohta lähetettyä. Laitan niistä sitten postauksen 15. päivä.

My (and my daughter's) summer vacation started, so hopefully I will be able to make a bit more miniatures than normally. My daughter got an idea now that she wants to go fishing, so on monday and tuesday, there we were. We were just a couple of hours there by the river, but we actually got even some fish ;-).

I have been trying to make some miniatures for next birthday swaps, but they are still in progress. The next one is on 15th, so I will need to get it ready and posted soon. I will make a post about them on 15th then.

Arkku - chest

Tässä uusin tekeleeni. Minulla oli hurjasti ongelmia tuon kannen kanssa ja teinkin siitä kaksikin yritelmää. Tämäkin on vielä aika kamala, mutta en jaksa tapella tänään enää sen kanssa, seuraava toivottavasti parempi.

Here is my newest exercise. I had lots of problems with the lid, and I made two tries with it. This one is still lousy, but I got fed up with it. Next one hopefully will be better.

Kokko - bonfire

Enpä ole tainnut täällä ennen yhtään mitään muuta kirjoitella kuin miniatyyrijuttuihin liittyvää, mutta laitetaanpa vaihteeksi pari kuvaa juhannusjuhlista, joissa kävin äitini ja tyttäreni kanssa perjantaina. Satiin sitten sadetta niskaan, joten lähdettiin aikaisin pois, mutta kokko ehdittiin nähdä, ja tyttäreni ehti hiukan kastelemaan varpaitaan järvessä, vaikka olikin vähän viileää (pari lasta oli kyllä uimassa).

I think I haven't written here earlier nothing else than about miniatures, so for change, I'll add here a couple of photos from a midsummer 'party' where I went with my mother and daughter on Friday. Rain started after awhile, so we left pretty early, but got to see the bonfire anyway, and my daughter tipped her toes in the water (it was still pretty cold, though there were some kids swimming).

Minulla on aina muutama (tai vähän enemmänkin ;-) työ kesken.Tässä näytille osa niistä. Pitää yrittää joskus jatkaa näitäkin. Pidän massailusta, mutta valitettavasti olen tosi aloittelija vielä siinä.

I have always a few (or more ;-) ) work in progress. Here you can see some of them. I should try to get them finished eventually. I like working with fimo (those plates), but unfortunately I am still a real novice in that.

Nyt kokeilin tehdä pöytää. Now I tried to make a table. Here it is photographed with the chair and bookcase, which are offered as giveaway prize. Flowers, glasses and bottle and little tablecloth are from Jaana, candy bowl and candle from Linda, and basket and oranges in bought bowl are made by me.
