Äidiltä saatua - given by my mother

Sain tässä joku aika sitten äidiltäni pari kivaa pikku taulua.
I got a couple of nice small pictures from my mother some time ago.

Arkku - chest

Tässä uusin tekeleeni. Minulla oli hurjasti ongelmia tuon kannen kanssa ja teinkin siitä kaksikin yritelmää. Tämäkin on vielä aika kamala, mutta en jaksa tapella tänään enää sen kanssa, seuraava toivottavasti parempi.

Here is my newest exercise. I had lots of problems with the lid, and I made two tries with it. This one is still lousy, but I got fed up with it. Next one hopefully will be better.

Kokko - bonfire

Enpä ole tainnut täällä ennen yhtään mitään muuta kirjoitella kuin miniatyyrijuttuihin liittyvää, mutta laitetaanpa vaihteeksi pari kuvaa juhannusjuhlista, joissa kävin äitini ja tyttäreni kanssa perjantaina. Satiin sitten sadetta niskaan, joten lähdettiin aikaisin pois, mutta kokko ehdittiin nähdä, ja tyttäreni ehti hiukan kastelemaan varpaitaan järvessä, vaikka olikin vähän viileää (pari lasta oli kyllä uimassa).

I think I haven't written here earlier nothing else than about miniatures, so for change, I'll add here a couple of photos from a midsummer 'party' where I went with my mother and daughter on Friday. Rain started after awhile, so we left pretty early, but got to see the bonfire anyway, and my daughter tipped her toes in the water (it was still pretty cold, though there were some kids swimming).

Keskeneräistä - WIP

Minulla on aina muutama (tai vähän enemmänkin ;-) työ kesken.Tässä näytille osa niistä. Pitää yrittää joskus jatkaa näitäkin. Pidän massailusta, mutta valitettavasti olen tosi aloittelija vielä siinä.

I have always a few (or more ;-) ) work in progress. Here you can see some of them. I should try to get them finished eventually. I like working with fimo (those plates), but unfortunately I am still a real novice in that.

Pöytä - Table

Nyt kokeilin tehdä pöytää. Tässä kuvattuna arvontapalkintojen, tuolin ja hyllyn kanssa, rekvisiittana Jaanalta (liina, kukat, pullo ja lasit) ja Lindalta (kulho karkkeineen ja kynttilä) saamiani tavaroita, sekä itse tehty kori ja appelsiinit ostokulhossa. Kuvausalustana kirja (Sheila Smith - Wicker Furniture  for the dolls house), jonka ohjeita olen käyttänyt näissä.

Now I tried to make a table. Here it is photographed with the chair and bookcase, which are offered as giveaway prize. Flowers, glasses and bottle and little tablecloth are from Jaana, candy bowl and candle from Linda, and basket and oranges in bought bowl are made by me. These are photographed on top of the book where most of the instructions for the wicker stuff I've made can be found: Sheila Smith's Wicker Furniture For The Dolls House
